Welcome to 2026 Mustache Gamess
(the “Event”), a community initiative and website operated by Mavriqx LLC (“Mavriqx,” “we,” “our,”
or “us”). By accessing or using this site, registering for the Event, or
submitting content of any kind, you (“you,” “your,” or “Entrant”) agree to be
bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do
not use the site or participate in the Event.

Age: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. 

Single Entry:
One entry per person per calendar year unless otherwise stated.

No Strings Attached:

Participation is absolutely free; no donation, purchase or social media follow is required.

Submission Format. Video submissions must be 5-30 seconds, highest resolution possible, not to exceed 4K, and in .mp4 or .mov format.

Deadline. All submissions must be received by 11 : 59 PM ET on December 31, 2026. Late entries are void.

Content Standards. Videos must clearly feature the entrant’s mustache. Content must be original and safe content, do not perform outside of your comfort. No dangerous stunts, illegal acts, or third‑party intellectual‑property violations.

Prizes & Judging

Prizes. The 2026 Mustache Games will award Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to the top three winners selected by Mavriqx. Entrants placing fourth through tenth will receive official recognition certificates. A separate People's Choice medal will be awarded to the entrant receiving the highest number of valid public votes during the designated voting period.

Additional honorary awards or recognitions may be presented at Mavriqx's discretion. No cash prizes will be awarded. Prizes have no cash alternative, are nontransferable, and are available to eligible participants worldwide, subject to applicable laws and shipping restrictions.

Judging. Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners will be selected by Mavriqx and/or a judging panel appointed by Mavriqx. Entries will be evaluated based on mustache appearance, distinctiveness, personality, presentation, and overall impression. No elaborate performance or professional video production is required. How entrants choose to showcase their mustache is entirely up to them, provided their submission complies with the Official Rules.

People's Choice Voting. Mavriqx will select a group of finalists to participate in public voting during January 2027. Voting may take place across designated official Mustache Games and MaxStache social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Voting instructions, deadlines, and procedures will be announced before voting begins. Mavriqx reserves the right to verify votes, disqualify fraudulent or manipulated voting activity, and resolve voting disputes. The People's Choice award is separate from the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards. All judging and voting determinations made by Mavriqx are final and binding, subject to applicable law.

Notification. Winners will be announced on or about January 31, 2027, and contacted using the email address provided during submission. Winners may be required to confirm eligibility and provide a valid shipping address to receive their awards. If a winner fails to respond within five (5) business days, is found ineligible, or fails to provide reasonably required information, Mavriqx may select an alternate recipient at its discretion.

Publicity Release. By accepting an award, winners grant Mavriqx permission to use their name, likeness, mustache imagery, and submitted content for purposes of announcing winners, documenting the competition, and promoting the Mustache Games and MaxStache, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. This provision does not limit any rights granted separately under the Intellectual Property & Content License section of these Official Rules.

We won’t use your submission video for anything beyond this event without first requesting your permission.

Your Ownership. You retain ownership of your submitted videos.

License to Us. You grant Mavriqx a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, and display your submission in any media related to the Event for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes.

Third‑Party Rights. You represent that your submission does not infringe third‑party copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights.

You agree not to:

Post or submit content that is obscene, defamatory, or illegal.

Harass, threaten, or harm other participants.

Interfere with the website’s security or proper functioning.

The site and Event are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mavriqx disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your participation, submission, or use of the site - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, our total liability shall not exceed USD $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mavriqx and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your submissions.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kennebec County, Maine. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
