Introduction
Welcome to 2025 Mustache Gamess
(the “Event”), a community initiative and website operated by Mavriqx LLC (“Mavriqx,” “we,” “our,”
or “us”). By accessing or using this site, registering for the Event, or
submitting content of any kind, you (“you,” “your,” or “Entrant”) agree to be
bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do
not use the site or participate in the Event.
Eligibility
18+ and a U.S. Resident.
Age & Residency: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid address in the United States.
Single Entry: one entry per person per calendar year unless otherwise stated.
No Purchase Necessary: Participation is free; no purchase or payment is required.
Event Entry
Registration Form. Entrants must complete the online registration form truthfully, providing name, email, and must affirm the age and Terms check‑boxes.
Submission Format. Video submissions must be 5-30 seconds, highest resolution possible, not to exceed 4K, and in .mp4 or .mov format.
Deadline. All submissions must be received by 11 : 59 PM ET on December 31, 2025. Late entries are void.
Content Standards. Videos must feature the entrant’s mustache in at least one clip. Content must be original and safe content, do not perform outside of your comfort. No dangerous stunts, illegal acts, or third‑party intellectual‑property violations.
Prizes & Judging
Prizes & Judging
Prizes. Gold = $1,000 · Silver = $500 · Bronze = $250 (USD). Prizes may be awarded as prepaid debit cards or other cash-equivalent methods at Mavriqx’s discretion. All prizes are considered taxable income. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, and for any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use. If a winner receives prizes totaling $600 or more in a calendar year, Mavriqx may issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC as required by law. Winners may be required to complete and return a Form W-9 and an affidavit of eligibility/release prior to receiving their prize.
Judging. Winners are determined by a combination of public vote and a judging panel selected by Mavriqx. Judging criteria include creativity, mustache prominence, and overall entertainment value. All decisions of Mavriqx are final and binding.
Notification. Winners will be announced on or about 01/29/26 and contacted via the email address provided. If a winner fails to reply within 5 business days, is found to be ineligible, or does not timely return required documentation, an alternate winner may be selected at Mavriqx's discretion.
Publicity Release. By accepting a prize, winners grant Mavriqx the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Intellectual Property & Content License
We won’t use your submission video for anything beyond this event without first requesting your permission.
Your Ownership. You retain ownership of your submitted videos.
License to Us. You grant Mavriqx a worldwide, royalty‑free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, and display your submission in any media related to the Event for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes.
Third‑Party Rights. You represent that your submission does not infringe third‑party copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights.
Code of Conduct
You agree not to:
Post or submit content that is obscene, defamatory, or illegal.
Harass, threaten, or harm other participants.
Interfere with the website’s security or proper functioning.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The site and Event are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mavriqx disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your participation, submission, or use of the site - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In any event, our total liability shall not exceed USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mavriqx and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your submissions.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kennebec County, Maine. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and data about your Browse behavior using cookies and similar technologies.
